Dedicate your children to the Lord

Hannah had no children. She desperately wanted a son. One day she prayed, LORD ALMIGHTY,...IF YOU WILL GIVE ME A SON, I PROMISE THAT I WILL DEDICATE HIM TO YOU FOR HIS WHOLE LIFE (1 Samuel 1:11 GN). Her prayer was answered. She had a son.

After he was weaned, she took him to Eli the priest and said, I ASKED THE LORD FOR A CHILD, AND HE GAVE ME WHAT I ASKED FOR. SO I AM DEDICATING HIM TO THE LORD. AS LONG AS HE LIVES, HE WILL BELONG TO THE LORD (1 Samuel 1:27-28 GN)

Verse 11 says that Samuel stayed with Eli the priest and served the Lord under him.

Now see what happened to the child who was dedicated to the Lord: AND THE CHILD SAMUEL GREW ON, AND WAS IN FAVOUR BOTH WITH THE LORD, AND ALSO WITH MEN (1 Samuel 2:26)

Have you dedicated your children to the Lord? If so, it is your responsibility to see that they grow in favor with God and man. Specifically???

Let's see what was said about Jesus' youth? AND JESUS INCREASED IN WISDOM AND STATURE, AND IN FAVOUR WITH GOD AND MAN (Luke 2:52).
This verse tells us that Jesus grew mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually. Dedicate your children to the Lord and see that they grow likewise.
