From Now to Eternity 11

Listen: mp3

Tribulation Saints
*Those saved by the witness of the 144,000 during the Great Tribulation and killed (Rev. 20:4).
*Jesus will get their ashes from the grave and make them new glorified bodies.

*They will live and reign with Christ during the millennium.

Old Testament Saints
*Will be raised before the millennium can begin (Daniel 11:45).
*Jesus will also get their ashes and make glorified bodies for these saints (Daniel 12:2).
*Those Jews who did not accept Jesus by looking forward to His coming will not be raised until later when satan is let loose.

The Jews and Gentiles who were saved during the Great Tribulation and are still alive will enter the millennium in their natural bodies. They will marry during this time and have children.

Jesus will be on the throne during the millennium and will rule with a rod of iron (Zech. 14:9, Rev. 2:27). Those of us in our glorified bodies will rule with Christ and it will be our job to make sure His orders are carried out.

What will the Millennium be like?
*There will be perfect peace because Jesus will be on the throne.
*We will praise and worship (Jer. 30:19).
*Even the land and animals will praise (Isaiah 35:1-2, Isaiah 11:6-9).
*Jesus will reign on His throne in the Holy of Holies in the millennial temple. That temple is within us as believers today (1 Cor. 3:16).
*Disease will be eliminated (Isaiah 33:24).
*I believe no one will die during this one thousand years because there will be no sickness, war, no animals can harm anyone, etc.
*People will build, inhabit, plant and eat (Isaiah 65:21).

The millennium and its ideal conditions will have to end because every person must choose for himself whether he will follow Christ or Satan. Any person born during this time has not ever been exposed to Satan. They will live under Christ’s rule because they will have no other choice.

Satan will be set free for a while (Rev. 20:7-8) and he will deceive many. Many born during the millennium will choose to follow him (Rev. 20:18).

Satan and all those he enlisted will march and try to do away with Jesus at the third and final battle of Armageddon. Satan has tried many times in the past and failed. He will fail this time, too. When he and his army get to Jerusalem God will send down fire to devour them (Rev. 20:9).

Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire joining the antichrist and the false prophet (Rev. 20:10) The lost of all ages will then join these three in the Lake of Fire.
