Our body is to be a living sacrifice: a day-by-day, hour-by-hour process that must never stop as long as we draw a breath

--New nature controlled by the Holy Spirit (John 16:13-15)
*includes fruit of the Spirit (Gal: 22-23): it is ours; we have to possess it

Your body is a living sacrifice when you allow the Holy Spirit to dwell in you and produce through you the attributes of Jesus.

We are to be holy: set apart (2 Cor. 6:17) We must stay prayed up and confessed up so we can present our bodies to God, free from anything that is in any way unworthy.

--We need to present to God a sweet-smelling savor. (Proverbs 15:8)—“The Prayer of the Upright is His delight.”
--“which is your reasonable service”—Serving our Lord and pleasing Him equals “worship.”
* Whether or not you worship depends on you. (Psalm 100:4)
*Worship is not exclusive to the Worship service. We are to Worship with our whole lives. (Col. 3:17). “Be not conformed to this world.”

—Jesus has given to the Holy Spirit all His attributes to give to you. We see God’s protective cover over us in the midst of our enemy—a wicked and antagonistic world.

--Take a look at the enemy: Lucifer, Satan
*Perfect in beauty (Ezekiel 28:12), “Till iniquity was found in thee, (28:15); “I will be like the most high” (Isaiah 14:14)
*God’s punishment for Lucifer (Rev. 12:3)
*Satan today: (1) God of this world (2 Cor. 4:3-4, John 14:30)
(2) Prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:1-3,
1 Peter 5:8)
