I did not understand sold-out living until I became a member of the Colonial Heights body of believers and began to grow in my walk with the Lord.

Shortly after I started teaching, the Lord impressed on my mind that I should have a life verse, one that governed how I was to live. I was convinced that it was not to be just a favorite verse or one that helped me in a trial.

The Lord pointed me to Psalm 74:23: I AM CONTINUALLY WITH THEE; THOU HOLDEST ME BY MY RIGHT HAND. THOU SHALT GUIDE ME WITH THY COUNSEL, AND AFTERWARD RECEIVE ME TO GLORY. This is what I live by. If you don't have a life verse, ask the Lord to give you one. Then live by it.
